The School of Psychology of Queen’s University Belfast approached UsFolk to collaborate on a refurb of their David Keir Building campus. Every aspect of the project from art direction, illustration, printing, and install was overseen and managed by the UsFolk team.  

After arranging an initial briefing and subsequent workshops amongst the staff and senior department lectures, it was agreed that an illustration-led project would truly transform the space while simultaneously showcasing the core principles of the department. During these workshops it was collectively agreed that the theme of these illustrations would be ‘Psychology is a Science’ The striking range of bold visuals illustrated by Cathal Duane, Jayde Perkin, Conor Nolan and Tara O’Brien transformed the space into a captivating visual reflection of all that the School of Psychology strives to be: A hub for exploration, new ideas, research and collaboration.
