Owen Gent is an illustrator based in Bristol, England working on a wide range of projects from book cover design and editorial illustration to charity campaigns and children’s books. Combining traditional painting techniques with a contemporary style, the tone of Owen’s work is subtle and human, using rich colour palettes, depth and light, metaphor and figure to approach subjects with delicacy and empathy. Owen’s clients include the New York Times, The New Yorker, Penguin, the BBC, The Economist, New Scientist, Vogue, Amnesty International, TED, The V&A and many more.
