Bio

Steve McCarthy is a Dublin born, London based Illustrator, designer and author. Steve spent his early career working in traditional animation, notably for Cartoon saloon creating backgrounds for the Oscar nominated Song of the Sea. His book A Sailor went to Sea Sea Sea with Sarah Webb won the Bord Gais Children's book of the year and he's currently developing his first solo picture book.
